Today, Governor Tina Kotek has directed that flags at Oregon public institutions be flown at half-staff in honor of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, following a Presidential Proclamation. The flags will remain at half-staff from November 25, 2023, until sunset on November 29, 2023, the day of her interment.
“Rosalynn Carter was a compassionate public servant,” said Governor Kotek. “She made a significant impact through her advocacy for women’s rights and mental health. Oregon extends its heartfelt condolences to President Carter and their family.”
